Russian programmer Dmitry Zavalishin is making a new operating system named phantom which will replace the traditional Operating System imagination.It has the speciality that it saves snapshots of os everytime to disk.It thus keeps your system always updated.It thus converts files to objects with persistent state.It is very new but it has got almost all features of other os.It even supports various programming languages like python,java or anything else.
It is sure to make a hit in market even in mobile markets and servers.Can you believe a phone which when powersoff automatically due to power and when switched on returns to the same state before it was turned off.This could make difference in everything we see.
It has no gui mode till now .But it will be developed later.When asked if it would be an open source he replied not now ,but in future may be.
