GeeXbox is a light weight media center whose main component is a modified version of Mplayer. With the version 2 a lot of changes has been made . Interface has been made more stylish and easier to use . GeeXbox is perfect for a PC connected to a TV or projector.GeeX box 2 comes with support for many video formats like rmvb  and audio. Earlier versions of geexbox had an incompatibility with intel graphic cards and now with geexbox 2, that problem has been solved . Based on enna design, it is more beautiful than the earlier versions. Geexbox supports a lot of file formats as it is based on mplayer , which is the favourite player of many linux fans .
