Yahoo! has followed fashion imposed by Google, to clean lightly used services or simply had been replaced by more recent. And is not that Yahoo! has many followers of this side of the pond, since it has increased market share in North America, but under the current leadership which aims to promote one of the most legendary names in Internet with a touch of modernity and creativity, no changes have been made to wait.
Services like Yahoo! Web Player, Foxy Tunes or its own RSS service will close in the next few days. As, few will feel affected by these closures, but there is one that stands out among those of us who were starting to sail in the depths of the first version of the Internet, it’s been a few years ago: the search engine Altavista.
