With the speed at which we are moving into the network and some files that have become quite large, the times in which the limitations to send an e-mail was about 2 or 3 MB, have already left behind. One of the most commonly used mail services in the world has taken the leap to the 10 GB of attachments: Gmail.
All this, thanks to the new Gmail integrating with Google Drive, allowing us to have access to files stored on our virtual drive so that to serve as attachments. It would be approximately similar to share files on Google Drive within Gmail, so that would be receives the mail by directly accessing the file stored in the cloud.
Gmail makers also announced that further links can be sent to a Gmail file, simply pasting the link to the location on Google Drive within the email.
