Last July launched StreamNation, a new service that will enable media sharing through srteaming directly from the cloud. Basically, we can upload our content to StreamNation account, where we stored our content, which we can “borrow” for our friends to see it, also via streaming.
It could be considered as a social network media, because our friends can see what content we have uploaded on the cloud, not only in digital file format movies or pictures, but also links to online movies. It has some limitations: for example, if someone decides it’s a good time to see one of our movies, we will not have access to it for a period of 24 hours.
StreamNation is paid, although at the moment it will be possible to obtain a trial period for an undetermined time, with 2 GB initial capacity, which can unlock up to 10 GB, performing some task, such as “like” on Facebook, tweet content, add more content and recommend StreamNation to friends. Of the 10 Gb onwards will have to buy more capacity from 100 GB to unlimited capacity for about 13 euros a year.
StreamNation working on Windows and iOS versions and also will soon to Android. A new alternative that arrives to join the ranks of the various options in streaming that we have today.
